Thank you for choosing PepGen Lab. This policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and paid for. By placing an order on pepgenlab.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Shipping Information
PepGen Lab reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Orders are processed only after payment has been successfully confirmed. Shipping timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier volume, weather, or factors beyond our control.
Processing: Our fulfillment center operates Monday through Friday. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends will ship the next business day.
Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for monitoring shipments. For delivery-specific questions, please contact the carrier directly.
2. Customs, Duties & Taxes (DAP Model)
PepGen Lab operates on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis for all international shipments.
Recipient Responsibility: All international orders may be subject to local import duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), or customs clearance fees as determined by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Payment Process: The shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, or Aramex) will typically contact the recipient via SMS or email to facilitate the payment of these fees before final delivery.
Refusal & Abandonment: If a shipment is refused by the customer due to unpaid customs fees or import taxes, the order is ineligible for a full refund. Any return shipping costs, storage fees, or destruction fees levied by the carrier will be deducted from any potential store credit or partial refund.
Our Transparent Tax Policy: To ensure we offer the most competitive laboratory research pricing globally, PepGen Lab does not collect upfront taxes or duties at checkout. This "Direct-to-Lab" model ensures you only pay local fees if and when they are required by your specific country’s regulations. Many smaller research orders fall under local de minimis thresholds and may incur no additional charges. However, should your parcel require clearance, you will only settle the necessary local fees directly with the carrier, ensuring you never pay more than is legally required for your specific region.
